For mothers who prefer serenity with pleasant environment, the nursing chair could be placed in the living room wherein family members can accompany while feeding the baby.
If you prefer a calm and tranquil place for feeding the baby, you can make your guest room vacant or make use of the study room which can in fact, be cozier. The lights can also be dimmed with the doors closed while taking calm and relaxing breaths as you sit on the nursing chair feeding your baby.

During breastfeeding, it will be helpful to have a foot stool or a stack of pillows to raise-up your foot. A pillow will also be comforting for the baby which can be very helpful for the baby to be closer to the breast.

This table can be used to place items such as a glass of water, a healthy snack like fresh fruits, nuts, smoothies, crackers or even a glass of milk. These can all be essential for the mother especially during the night to replenish all the energy gone during breastfeeding.
Babies with large appetite for breastfeeding will usually take long to feed. To keep yourself busy during your stay on the nursing chair, you can also do other activities such as reading a book, doing crosswords to while away time.
